Spring Congress is a 6-day annual conference whose participants are the most experienced members of Electrical Engineering STudents' European assoCiation (EESTEC).
It is undoubtedly the biggest international event of EESTEC and necessary for the Association’s sustainability and the continuation of its actions. It is a unique opportunity for every member to participate into defining the future strategy and planning of the Association, to better understand its international structure and engage in an open dialogue with the most experienced members of the Association. Congresses drive the development of EESTEC and shape its future for over 30 years.
Ljubljana is the capital and the largest city of Slovenia, but it’s still dwarfed by other European capitals. This gives it a sense of cozyness you wouldn’t be able to feel anywhere else while being equipped with all the necessities of a big city. This gem has been carefully watched by the Ljubljana Castle for more than 900 years. It holds many legends, including the ones about dragons lurking in Ljubljana. Apart from oversized lizards, the city offers a rich culture to explore, great food to feast upon, and most importantly lots of friendly people.
The General Meeting will take place directly at M Hotel where all of the official participants will be staying, in its spacious conference hall. The hall is set up with adequate audio and visual equipment and most importantly free wifi.
M hotel is a newly renovated hotel, that often holds business meetings and conferences. It impresses with its modern interior design and extremely comfortable beds, ensuring that the participants will attend the meetings well-rested. It is located not far from the city centre and very close to Park Tivoli, making it a great starting point for visiting all the main tourist attractions.
Zzz Hostel lies in the very heart of Ljubljana. It shares its address with a very friendly bar Zorica and a popular night club K4, which very much explains its title of a “party hostel”. Just in front of the hostel is the main crossroad of Ljubljana city buses, giving unofficial participants the most mobility to embark on their adventures.
EESTEC is a non-profit, apolitical and voluntary international organisation of students of electrical engineering and computer science. It aims to connect more than 5000 students across Europe and educate about the latest trends in electrical engineering and computer science.
